Is my UMD drive dead?

Hey all, I have a Sony 2.60 and the UMD drive worked great on wednesday I saw a movie with it. Then tonight I try playing GTA LC and the game wont even load. I thought it was something wierd but of course I forgot the movie to see if the UMD drive plays the movie?

would that be my UMD??? cause if it is I'll replace it.
