HIGHLY ILLEGAL, AND WILL NOT BE DISCUSSED ANYWHERE ON THESE FORUMS.
*my previouse guide got deleted, so the links aren't there anymore, i'll add them later. Original Guide was posted June 2nd.
*NOTE: if you have a 1.5 psp system, please READ middle portion of this post
*ANOTHER NOTE: 1.51 and 1.52 PSP systems need to be updated to 2.00, then
follow 2.00 instructions
*2.00 NOTE: Read the bottom-est instructions
Step 1: Get a USB Type A to Mini Type B, or a cable named for PSP usage.
Step 2: Plug it into your PSP and PC.
Step 3: On the PSP, go to Settings -> USB Connection, and push X
Step 4: If you have Windows XP, a new window will pop up, looking like this
Step 5: Open the PSP directory
Step 6: Right click in the folder, go down to New -> Folder
Step 7: Rename the New Folder to GAME
Step 8: Open the GAME folder
Step 9: Make another new folder, name does not matter
Step 10: Place the EBOOT.PBP in the new folder. If it's a emulator, then
you'll also need to place all of the appropriate roms in the same folder as
EBOOT.PBP, after this, the psp will have access to all folders. If you have
vba psp, it's more complicated. Pm me for that.
Step 11(optional): If you have more homebrew/emulators, repeat Step 9 untill
all homebrews/emulators are added
Step 12: Done! If you have a version 1.0 PSP, simply press circle to leave
the USB connection, press right untill game is selected, select Memory
Stick, and you'll find it. If It says "Game could not be started" then you
have 1.5, read below to see how to install on that.
1.5 USERS:
*A NOTE FIRST: most 1.5 homebrews come with a 1.50/1.5/src folder, these usually include pre kxploited versions, so if it does, skip this entirely and just put the homebrew/emulator % and non-% folders in your psp/game folder
1. Download this file located at
http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/files/k...1.5_psp-dev.rar
2. It's in Spanish, so what you need to do is download any emulator/homebrew
anywhere.
3. Open the file, and extract the EBOOT.PBP located inside it.
4. After installing the file mentioned in step 1, open the program.
5. Where it says "Nombre:" type down whatever you want the emulator/homebrew
to be called, this does not effect the game.
6. Where it says "Fichero PBP:", click the "..." button, and locate the
EBOOT.PBP file you extracted from step 3.
7. Where it says "Unidad PSP:", make sure your PSP is connected, and select
the drive letter of your PSP.
8. After all that is inputted, click the "Generar ficheros" button. wait for
it to finish.
9. If this is an emulator, read on, if not, you're ready to play!
10. Download roms for the emulator from any web-site which has them. (DO NOT
ASK FOR THEM ON THE FORUMS, if you really need help, ask me. make sure you
PM it)
NOTE: I've had alot of PM's asking for "psp roms". there is no such thing,
when it comes to emulation, a rom is a rom. Any rom you download will run on
the psp, as long as you have the appropriate emulator
11. Put the roms in any folder of the PSP, except GBA, that has special
rules.
12. Run the emu on your PSP, select onm the psp whichever folder you put the
roms in. Press O to play.
12-1/2. If game/emulator does not run, you have 1.00 (see above), 1.51, or
1.52. See "*ANOTHER NOTE" at top of this page.
13. Have Fun, or post a thread on this forum to get more help. I may answer,
or someone else may.
