Although the war has ended, a great price was paid, Midgar, the prosperous city was reduced to rubbles in the struggles and the citizens are plagued by a mysterious illness, Geo-stigma, that inflicts pain on the infected.

The DVD version that came out a few years ago left questions unanswered and fans thirsting for more action, excitement and time together with their favourite characters.
