M3 Adapter SD erratic behavior

Yesterday my M3 went through two behavioral changes. First it only read my SD card in GBA mode. Now it only reads it in NDS mode. I only get this problem with my DS. My GBA SP loads it perfectly. Only my DS does it have a problem.

I've had my M3 for a couple months now and I haven't had a problem up until yesterday.

I'm running the current firmware E16 and have been for weeks.

i don't own an m3 but perhaps try re-installing the firmware again - perhaps it got a little corrupt or somethin
