Help - Memory stick PSP problems

Hi - new to PSP have just bought Jap 1.5 version from ebay for husband's birthday present but having problems with memory stick.

Came with Sony 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo - already formatted according to the seller - but PSP just keeps saying "There is no memory stick inserted". Have made sure it's inserted correctly and have cleaned the connecter but still no joy - any ideas???

It's his birthday this week and want to make sure it's working properly.

try formating it again, if it don't work then put it in your computer and check if it reads on your computer, if it don't read on the computer the memory stick is *bricked*.

Sounds like a stupid question but how do I put it in my computer - do I need an adapter??

Some kind of memory card reader would be required

go into settings

then find something called format memory stick
