Sega Rally Championship 1995

Hi.
I just received the game Sega Rally Championship 1995 JAP for PS2.
Don't know why, but when I insert the game, it shows me the PlayStation 2 Logo, then I hear the CD reading, but it reaches a time that it just doesn't get out of the black screen. The game doesn't even shows up.

My PS2 has a modchip, but the game is original.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Can anyone help me with this?

Do you mean the PS1 ?

The disk is probably scratched up and has failed to read.

No, it's a special edition of the game Sega Rally. It's a remake of the original 1995 game, which came with the game Sega Rally 2006.

I buy Sega Rally 2006 and you also get Sega Rally 1995 for the PS2.

The disk is brand new... I really doubt that is the problem...
