Help with Handy-0.95.1 Colours

Hi,
A bit of a random one, but I need some help with the ancient Handy emulator (still the best Lynx emu on the PSP!).

I have installed it to my 5.00 M33-4 Slim, but the colours are all messed up, this starts when the emulator loads as the background is the wrong colour (the pallette actually), it gets worse as when I load any Lynx rom the game has the wrong colours as well!

Is this because I am converting the EBOOT via PSPBrew, the file on here is a 1.00 EBOOT and needs to be convered or else I just get a 'corrupt data' icon.

Please can someone help me out as it is driving me mad!
