DTPK sound files in DC Games

Hello everyone,

I noticed, that some DC Games, like Shenmue, uses a sound format with DTPK as ASCII code at the beginning in every file. The extension is (in Shenmue again) "SND". This is neither the Amiga nor the NeXT/Sun sound format (*.snd, too) and it's not ADX/AFS/SFA.
It seems to be something like an extended MIDI format, probably for the Yamaha AICA sound chip.

So, if anyone knows more about this or about tools like players, plugins or even converter, please help me and a lot of other people and post it.
