can't get the r4 revolution to work

Hi, could someone please help me with my r4 card. I bought an r4 revolution, it came with no software but the site I bought it from had the software on it. I downloaded the software and put it on the card, I also put games on the card. When I put the card in the ds and turned it on it loaded up to show three options: games, multimedia and settings, when I pressed games it game up with the list of games but completely freezes on that screen, it wont let me do anything, could anyone please help me with this as it has had me stuck for days.

If it's freezing up in the games menu, it could be a hardware issue, either the R4 or the SD card.

Try formatting the micro SD card. Then put all the firmware back on it and try again. If that doesn't work try a different version of the firmware.

When it comes to the R4 clones there really is no "official" site since they're all made by different guys (who apparently ripped off the same website template).

Check the following sites, and try some of the firmwares they have available. Not all the firmwares are compatible with every version of the R4. It's possible you just downloaded the wrong one.

I ordered the R4 SDHC revolution is it a bad card or does it work well?
