SCDS One fails to read SDHC

Just got a brand new SCDS One. Got it working but after I have played a game, when I reboot the DS Lite, I get 2 white screen for about 20 seconds followed by the message "No Find SD Card! Please turn off NDS!".

Obviously, I presure its not supposed to do that so I'm wondering if there is a fix or maybe just a problem with my card?

I have a 4GB Sandisk SDHC and anything I have thrown onto it works fine. It is formatted to FAT32 so maybe that is the problem (should it be FAT16)?

Also, the SDHC a slightly bent when the SCDS One. If you look at the back of the SCDS One, the SDHC card is slightly jutting out from the left hand side. Once again, I'm wondering whether this is common in all cards or just mine ;/ This could also maybe cause the problem?

One last question: Is there a way to display the Day (e.g Saturday) on the time bar via global.ini? I have changed the settings to DD/MM/YYYY but cant get it working under d-MM-YYYY
