Hi all,
I'm desperatly trying to get Seiken Densetsu 3 (secret of mana 2) working through sne9x but due to the text problem you have to use the screen size mode "BL", when I run this though, the screen flashes constantly, does anyone know how to stop this as I dont think I can play the game like that.

I have the same general problem with sprites and backgrounds on TYL .03, for Super Mario World and megaman x3.. the only thing I could suggest if this is the issue your having is, try TYL .02.. it didnt have these sorts of issues, however it could be slower..
I agree. i suggest snes9xtyl 0.2b or c. my mana works fine. plus what you're describing sounds more like your frameskip is up way too high.
