not sure how many already know but i thought id post this anyway the ps3 is to be region free. sony worldwide studios president phil harrison confimed at this years game developers conference that playstation 3 will be region free which means uk gamers or america or wherever will be able to shop around the globe with no worry on games working on ther console, no more dismantling and chipping rather like the region free psp which is also great.
