2.7 to 2.6 what features do i lose?

Can anyone tell me what features i will be losing when i swap my 2.7 with my 2.6 freind? and also if anyone knows what you lose/get in every version of firmware , say i had 2.0 and wanted 2.6 what all would i be gainin/losing? thanks

Trust me, your not losing much going from 2.7 to 2.6. Only an outdated flash player that can't run many games. 2.6 allows you to run homebrew and apps through GTA exploit. Besides, you can always upgrade back to 2.7 or higher if you desire. So I would proceed with the trade. As for 2.6 - 2.0, you would lose RSS reading and WMA playback but at the same time be able to load homebrew through tiff exploit and even downgrade to 1.5 for the best homebrew version.

Do not upgrade if you still want Homebrew.

I agree with JmanUmmKay, we strongly advise you not to upgrade your firmware, unless you still want to run Homebrew and Emulators on your PSP. Sony patched up the Tiff Exploit and Eloader that Fanjita created for GTA, also you wouldn't be able to use the Cheat Device that Edison Carter created.

you can only downgrade if you have 2.0 as far as iv read thats the only way to downgrade , you can not downgrade if you have 2.1 - 2.7 , please dont search any farther as you will get nowhere with downgrading yet.
