Help! Can't play Beatles Rockband on modded wii....

Hi there,

I have a NTSC Wii console modded with the Homebrew. We have used Patchmii and WAD manager...and use GekoOS backup launcher to play backup wii iso discs.

Problem is, my sister and I just dropped $250.00 on a brand new Beatles Rockband set.

The game will not load. We get an error asking us to update the wii's firmware.

If we update, we'll lose our homebrew/brick our wii, right?

How do I work around this to get my new game working?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

You've broken some cardinal rules here.
1) Don't talk about backups.
2) Don't talk about WADs.
