Should I downgrade to 3.2?

Hello: I have a hard modded console running 4.0. I have read that it is better to downgrade to 3.2. Supposedly, Home Brew Channel will run better. And game loaders will work better, (something about no need to restore trucha bug?) Is this true? Is it better to downgrade.

There's no reason to downgrade period as long as you're only doing legal stuff.

The Homebrew Channel runs fine on all Wii versions, AFAIK.
