M3 SD - GBA side not working

i have an m3 sd on a flashed DS. everytime i hold select and goto load GBA cart, the m3 sd says "cannot find SD card, press start to continue" so i do and it freezes. The DS side works perfectly. any ideas on how to fix this or any work arounds (such as a GBA emulator that runs on the DS side ;) ) any help would be appreciated

You don't have the Professional version do you which doesn't run GBA games?

no i dont, i have 2 m3 SDs and they are both identical, just one doesnt work on the GBA side :\
