Verizon Confirms Pre Plus and Pixi Plus Costs, Buy One Get One Free Offer [Phones]

http://cache.gawker.com/assets/image...-pre-plus1.jpgThose leaked Verizon prices for the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus were on the money, as Verizon's now announced official coinage for the scaled-up models. Both webOS phones will be under $150 after a mail-in rebate.
The Pre Plus will set you back $149.99 after a $100 rebate, and the Pixi Plus will be $99.99 after the same mail-in rebate is claimed. Contract length is two years, so comparable with Sprint's offer. But Sprint doesn't have the Plus models, which offer more internal storage, wireless charging cases as standard, and Wi-Fi for the Pixi Plus.
The buy-one-get-one-free offer sounded too good to be true last week, but Verizon is obviously feeling mighty generous as turns out, it was indeed based in fact. Anyone who buys a Pre Plus or Pixi Plus will get a Pixi Plus free—but that offer expires February 14th. Valentine's Day gift, anyone? [Verizon]
