I'm a complete idiot and a total newbie. I can't seem to figure any of this out. You seem like nice and caring people in all your posts. I have no idea what to do. I want to download games to play on my PSP- (for demo purposes only). One person was helping me but It didn't work. Here's where I'm at:

I have PSP new- version 2.5
I downloaded something called DevHook and unzipped it and placed it in my MS_Root folder. Then I downloaded a zipped game and have tried to put it everywhere but it doesn't show up. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong or forgetting something. Am I even on the right track? Any help would be greatly appreciated. before you do anything, i would downgrade to 1.5

How do I do that? will it change anything like mp3s, umds, or games that I have now?

if its new you cant downgrade but try to get gtalcs the older version then get the automatic eloader installer and the automatic homebrew installer from www.psphacker.com

Probably not a good idea to talk about downloaded games-you definetly need to get on some 1.5 if you don't have a ta-082 motherboard

stay at 2.5 for now until you understand more about hacking
