Playing Wifi Hombrew games with Nintendo Wifi USB connecter!

I don't have a wireless router,but I have the Wifi usb thing for the DS.Is it possible to play wifi enabled homebrew games with the usb thing?

Isn't that the purpose of the USB connecter? :confused:
