been reading around about a serial port hack... just wondering if anyone can be more specific with details about this. im sure it is on here somewhere, but, well its my 21st birthday in 20 mins, and i been awake for nearly 4 days solid and getting a lil confused with things. any helpers?

Are you refering to a specific hack? If so, what is it supposed to do?
Various developers have developed custom hardware devices (such as Deniska's GPS add-on) that utilize the serial port. You can retrieve information from it through PSPSDK calls, but I'm not aware of any specific hack of any notariety.
there is no hack.
but there is a way to print information through a six pin serial cable mod, and the GPS add on, which requires a USB, psp remote mod.
it was thought that serial access would allow for flashing of bricked psps, but no news has surfaced of attempts or success.
