EmuMaster Game Gear Compatibility

I am having problems running a few Game Gear games on EmuMaster emulator and was wondering if it was a compatibility issue or a problem with my Emulator/Roms.

To give one particular example I really want to run Micro Machines and Micro Machines '96 on it, but neither will start.

I have searched high and low for a compatibility list but have been unable to find one. The Roms would appear to be OK as I can use them on Fusion on my PC, and I have tried them on the PSP in both EmuMaster and SMSPlus to the same result.

Has anyone been able to run these games, or are they just not playable via PSP emulators at the moment?
