What is Format Memory Stick

i just want to know what exactly does format memory stick do. :cool:

It deletes everything that is on your memory stick making it blank

And it formats it to the PSP's format, which is basically the same as it would be for a PC, but with the folders "Games", "Music", "Images" etc on there.

if you have corrupted files and stuff on your mem stick, you would want to format your memory stick to make it work again :)
