The 2.71 Choice - To Downgrade or use Eloader

PSP owners on firmware 2.71 have a big choice very soon, (well as soon as either the downgrader or eloader are released).

Do you downgrade or do you opt to use the Eloader ?

Both using the downgrader and Eloader will require you to be a bit knowledgable with PSP stuff but id say the Eloader was the safer option.

So to all DCEmu Members and bearing in mind that neither has been released yet, If it affects you would you downgrade or use Eloader?

Ill be interested to see the general feelings on this issue.

i will use the downgrader on my other psp, i just like being able to launch homebrew without the use of a an eloader :)

Downgrading my 2.0 to 1.5 was a piece of cake but I hear that the higher firmwares are harder to downgrade *scared*

Still if I had a 2.71, i'd downgrade.

they are very simple to downgrade, especially when someone creates an .exe for the pc that installs everything on you psp properly

I think that the downgrader would be the best option.
It gives people the option to use a combination of both the e-loader and firmware 1.5.

I would boot up 2.71 through custom firmware and then run the eloader through devhook 2.71.
And you can also safely customize the 2.71 devhook firmware, which is another advantage.

If you mess anything up, all you have to do is replace the flash1/flash0 files.

So yes, definately downgrade.

well unless it could downgrade TA-082 psps im stickin with the Eloader untill they make one for the unfortunate TA-082 psps

Downgrade of course (it's not that hard really).

I would downgrade. but it's not working yet for 2.80 ;-(
