I am considering downgrading from 2.71 -> 1.5 (i dont own GTA). i know i need the dump files for 1.5 and i dont have the TA-082 motherboard. my question is, do i need GTA to run homebrew once i have 1.5fw?? if not how can i run it?

No, you do not need GTA to run homebrew on a 1.50. To run it, put the files in the GAME folder, and run it like you do for an update.Quote:

no u don't need the eloader either, u can run it from the XMB on a 1.5...just download a emu/homebrew/app for 1.5(they have 2 folders ex:"gpsp" and "gpsp%" they go in ur GAME folder
oh ok. one last thing, in the instructions for downgrading it says you must plug in your ac adapter. i lost mine, but can i just use my usb cord that has the ac plug also?
Nevermind i got my answer. thanx for all the help everyone. i just downgrader a couple of minutes ago and it worked!!! mmmm, i smell homebrew
