If App Store's Trademark Is Generic, So Is Windows'

In response to Microsoft's attempt to dismiss Apple's 'App Store' trademark application, Apple references Microsoft's claim to the Windows trademark. I don't recall the term Windows being used in the days of Dos until MS created an OS, but i've been buying Apps from stores for Smartphones a lot of years before Apple got into the game, so they need to stop bitching and moaning everytime they don't get complete control over everyones life.
