wfc supercard?

can you play mario kart online using a supercard im worried because it says "save this nintendo ds systems nintendo WFC configuration to the game card and connect to the WFC" If i do this will it do anything to the actural supercard or just to the rom. I just got the supercard yesterday and i dont wont to break it

First don't talk about roms. But no, it wont do anything to the game. It will just save your connection settings to your nintendo ds so you don't have to search for your acess point every time you want to connect.
