Running 1.5 Homebrew at 333mhz

I used to own a TA-082 2.6 with eLoader, so I got used to running homebrew at 333mhz for top speed.
At long last, I traded my TA-082 PSP (plus twenty bucks, GTA:LCS and three PS2 games I don't like) for a 2.6 non-TA-082 PSP and I downgraded it to 1.5. Quite happy I be! However, unlike eLoader, there's no apparent way to set the speed (222, 266 and 333 megahurtz), so I feel a bit cheated in speed not being able to set it to 333mhz.
Not many homebrew programs let you set the speed in the actual homebrew program, so is there a way for me to set the speed to 333mhz in 1.5 for homebrew?

iR Shell v2.2, it also lets you play mp3s while running homebrew/loaders/emus/apps/umd. it even lets you play psp games from your computer. after you launch the homebrew press select+L Trigger to see the menu.

using a custom firmware mod can allow you to load other prx files meaning you can run cwcheat (for example) right when the psp is booting. it has the ability to change the clock speed of your psp but you will probably find someone has made a stand alone clock adjuster for 1.5 custom firmware already (i would like to know as i would use it.)

Devhook lets you change the speed.

Most all homebrew is already set to run at 333mhz at default on 1.5.

i did mean outside of devhook in the 1.5 xmb. also good point about the homebrew mostly being 333. still i was looking for a way to lock it at 333 so apps like irshell cant turn it down to 222. i did find a plugin for 1.5 that does what i need but it doesnt lock it at 333. so still searching. :D

I don't really see what's the point.

If some program actually needs 333MHz, it will have the option to increase the clock speed.

Would it really hurt you, Tinnus, if I ran my homebrew at 333mhz?

True, but I don't play NES on my PSP. I play homebrew stuff that has the potential for going slow on the PSP. And, though I probably come off as a jerk by saying this, 'tis my battery power to worry about, not anyone else's.
Well, I am aware that the whole 222mhz thing is to preserve battery power even though the PSP is 333mhz. Sometimes, I just feel cheated out of speed when I'm playing something that lags a little and I'm not sure if it's running at 333mhz.
So, thanks again for all of the help and advice, guys. I tried iR Shell like Plague suggested, and it does the job just fine. That, and it's just a nifty tool to have. Probably never would have found it if someone didn't tell me about it.
