X06: HD-DVD price and date

Due for release in North America, UK, France and Germany in mid-November 2006, the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player will go for $199.99 in North America and €199.99/£129.99 in the UK, France and Germany.

The player comes with Peter Jackson's King Kong on HD DVD (for a limited time) and the Xbox 360 remote.

$200 isn't too bad.

Comparing that $200 to the standalone players price of $800 I will definatly be picking one up.
