ok so i put the upgrade eboot under update which is under game.
psp fw 2.0 to fw 2.6
but when i go to the game section it says its corrupted data!! whats wrong?

You need the eboot loader :p
can i use the new eloader?
If you want to update to 2.6, place the EBOOT inside a folder called UPDATE inside GAME. ;)
Why do you of all people want to update? (just curious)
you can downgrade from 2.0 to 1.5
