New DS Lite - want to check how to play backups

Hi all

I've just got a brand new white DS Lite with loads of carts. I have found this adapter which if I understand correctly will let me fill the SD card with backups of my games and play them from the SD card, so I don't have to carry the carts everywhere. Can anyone confirm whether this is correct? Or is there a better solution? Also, does the SD reader stick out the bottom of the DS, or does it fit all the way in?

Yes that'll stick out of NDS Lite, its more for the phat version, you should get a M3 Lite, Passcard 3 and Micro SD card. Then your all set, yes you can play back-ups of GBA/DS/etc. along with aload of homebrew emus for other consoles.
