whenwill the mod chip be out

i had a psp it got bricked during the summer.
how can i check my psp's mother board noumber?
is the modchip out yet, and if so where can i purchase.

Yeah.... the modchip has been out for a while, as for mother board checking Go here TA-082 is bad, doesn't support modchip. If you dont have it you still need to open up your psp as there are different instructions for installing the modchip for each of the other Motherboard versions.
