Would it be possible to copy some parts of a 1.50 dump and some parts of a 2.0 or higher firmware dump to make a custom dump that can play 1.50 homebrew and have the Sony web browser?
If it is possible, which files would I need to copy to make this hybrid dump that I could emulate with the DevHook that launches on 2.71?
just use the 2.71 SE-A custom firmware, it will do what you want....
motoko, his sig says he has ta082 mobo. thus he cant upgrade to 2.71 SE cause the 1.5 bootstrap would brick

I remember reading that hybrid firmwares were possible with MPH's Firmware Launcher, so I bet it's possible with Dev Hook. But I don't really see why you would want to do it.
I want to do it. I would love to be able to enjoy the fruits of 2.71 SE, without having to flash it to my PSP. The reason I don't want to flash it is, b/c I don't think this is the "end all" custom firmware (what about 3.0 emulation eventually?). I'm sure this can be done. And I'm sure if I'm patient and keep my eyes open, there will be a DevHooked 2.71 SE. :D
