well it's not a big change...basically
1. u have the internet, can load UMDs without loading devhook and set wallpaper as backgrounds
2. 1.5 and 2.71 HenC homebrew work from the XMB
3. x-flash doesn't work but they have a 2.71SE-A customizer now(for fonts, gameboots, backgrounds)
4. u have a GAME folder for the 2.71(HenC) homebrew and u have to make a GAME150 folder(in the PSP folder) for ur 1.5 homebrews
that's about it
plus WMA and Flash playback
Ya know i don't think any honest question is stupid. If a person is tring to better them self. Then i have no problem helping them, and what may seem like stupid questions really arn't that stupid if your new to the subject. Because they way i see it by helping you i help a thousand people. Because i'm sure you may run accross another person who was in your position and help them and they help who ever and so on and so fourth. Well anyways think of 2.71 SE-A more of a Hybred between 1.5 and 2.71 all the homebrew capabilitys of 1.5 but with all the updates and features of 2.71. Of course!!! Thats the beauty of custom firmware. No need for complicated ways of downgrading. With custom firmware its just as easy to downgrade as it is to upgrade maby even easyer. You use recovery mode to put back on what ever firmware you want. But i can't see why anyone would want to go back. Plus you can emulate pretty much any firmware with dev hook.
sounds like 2.71 may take 1.5 PSPs crown as the ultimate firmware but it will still take some time and it may not but you never know i remember when they said 2.6 wont have a downgrader and now it does but its nice to hear that all fw psps can enjoy homebrew now and i would try the 2.71 SE-A but im very happy with my 1.5 custom lol
2.71 SE-A is a custom firmware. And its basicaly a Hybred between 1.5 and 2.71 having all the new features of 2.71 with the homebrew capabilities of a 1.5. you can have custom font, game boot. Its is the best right now and its getting better. But 1.5 is the golden firmware because its because of it that everything became possible.
