Minecraft creator develops new game in 48 hours

Markus Persson makes 'Minicraft' as part of the 22nd Ludum Dare competition

Minecraft creator Markus ‘Notch’ Persson has developed a new browser-based game in just 48 hours.
The game, Minicraft, was created as part of the 22nd Ludum Dare competition, challenging developers to make a game in two days.

It is a top-down action game in which users can mine rocks, chop down trees, fight zombies and create items.
The game’s description reads: “The goal of the game is to kill the only other sentient being in the world, making sure you'll be alone forever.”
