Maybe its just me. But most games on my PS2 dont looks as good as I think they should. The textures and backgrounds look slightly blurry and sometimes jagged. Its as if I was looking a pc game at 640 by 480!
I have a decent tv so that isn't it. Maybe I need new cables or something. anybody got any suggestions?
It's.. well.. you are looking at 640x480.. actually more like 300-400ish by 480
by the time it displays on your TV.. also the PS2 is well known for it's
"Jaggies".. as well the backgrounds will tend to be less detailed, and
sometimes purposely blurred more than other consoles due to the lack
of video ram..
get a componet cable..make sure ur tv have componet jacks..
there is an option in the ps2 browser to tun off and on smoothing
