wondering about psp homebrew games

why is it than back in the day when single programmers made official games (in the amiga/atari st/7800 era) alot of good, simple, and innovative games were made with alot of depth. While on the psp scene the homebrew games (all but about 3) are total crap? Not only that but almost all of it doesnt get finished or even leave the alpha stage. I mean even the nintendo ds has better homebrew games made for it and once that even use the touch screen, than the psp, which look like they are made by kirdengardeners.

The problem is that everyone wants to be a coder - there is a distinct lack of talented music composers/graphic designers/story writers etc.

and i can think of a lisat of 20 awesome homebrew games, so why dont you shove those word where the sun doesnt shine.

no he is right when it comes to non-emulation homebrew on either system. The DS has much more polished homebrew, ive noticed that before and was hoping that some of it would get ported our way.
