Pc webcam on ps2

Hi i was wonderung if it is possible 2 use a normal pc webcam on the ps2 as my eyetioy camera is broken beond repair and it's cheaper to get a pc webcam than a ps2 1

I doubt it very much, but you could give it a try.

i know that you can use the webcam on the PC with the help of special software but not the other way around

My cousin had the same problem. He used a boot disk to verify the playstation 2 that there was a webcam plugged in. It might not work depending on what kind of playstation you have got e.g. Black or Silver Platinum or the company that produced the boot disk. Another reason is that if the boot disk is made by a popular brand then they may have a copyright facility that denies the PC Webcam 8)
