kd/kn folder in 2.71 se

I just pspfiler 1.8 got a hang of it now I tried a few flash applications like the cwcheat module now I am just wondering that most of the flash applications are flash to the kn folders.My cousin tried the new svc module at the news section and he says its workin for umd games but not homebrews.

My question is since KN is 2.71 and kd is 1.5 does this mean if I flash to kd with pspfiler I can use these modules with homebrew?

could it also crash(or brick) the psp as there are two modules now 1 in kn and 1 in kd?

Another thing I want to ask is can irshell run unsigned prx like these modules?as I see irshell has many plugins.
