I start up devhook for 2.71, i go to firmware and click on 1.5, then i press start. it goes to a black screen, then it turns off. can someone please help me??!!

that also happened to me, you have to erase everything, even the eboots and install them again
ive tryed to. are u using an installer? can u give a link to where u got ur devhook stuff?
Screw the installers,sounds like your missing the reboot.bin file.dump the firmware yourself and do a manual install.Or magically find the decrypted firmware with the reboot.bin and drop that in you dh folder.I went through this same problem installing reverse devhook on a friends psp.It has to be the reboot.bin from 1.5 firmware.
Never trust installers that contain illegal material as they might contain a little "bonus" for your OS
