UK Game Sales chart: week ending 04 Nov

EA hold on to the top spot again with a boost from the Xbox 360 version being released, despite two new big hitters comming in to claim 2nd and 3rd. COD 3 is the second fastest-selling Xbox 360 title ever and
should be boosted by PlayStation 2, Wii and Xbox version that will be release soon.

PES 6, Fifa 07 and The Sims 2: Pets, all drop 2 places each to male way for the new titles, and GTA:VCS, is still selling well for the PSP in 7th place.

Lego Starwars 2 makes a come back into the top 10, with the PSP version being released.

Sega get into the top ten with Creative Assembly's Medieval II: Total War debuting at number nine, while Canis Canem Edit fails to convert hype into steller sales drops to 10th

F.E.A.R Xbox 360 version brings it back into the top 40, with 20th place while, Sony's Buzz: The Sports Quiz, enters the charts with a whimper in 31st

Next week: Gears of War, will it knock Need for Speed of the top?

They just pimp all of their franchises to death. Every other month there's a new Sims game, Need for speed game, FIFA game.

It's ridiculous.

I'm not a big WWII fan, but COD3 is amazing on both 360 and original xbox.

I highly recommend it if you are a FPS fan.

Hmmm, notice how most of those games are either sequels/prequels or whatever, theres a real lack of orginality now, tut tut to all you game makers, although i did buy VCS :)

cool i might check it out. i think most of the world dig FPS (except Jpn - hence reason Xbox sinks out there!)

Just got fear, i think it will go up the rankings more than 20th or 40th or wherever it may be.

I want Gears of War. Maybe I'll finally start playing my 360 once that game comes out.
