Cant you buy realy low firmware psps from like japan and asia? I know video_freak did. What firmware do new psps come with?

The new mobos are modchippable in case you are considering getting a new one.
I got a Japanese 1.5 FW PSP from Ebay. There are loads on there, just take your time and make sure you buy one from someone with 100% feedback.
