Memory Stick help... possibly fake....

I bought a 2 GB Sandisk Memory stick from eBay (now regretting it)

I've tried everything I can think of, but I can't transfer anything to it (error: Memoy stick could not be accessed)

I can't copy anything from the pc to it (the moving bar in USB mode just keeps on moving)

I can't format (error:Format Failed(80220089))

And it shows that there's 1939MB and theres always a flashing amber light.

Any suggestions?

You're unable to format the card from windows, not just on the psp?

It doesn't sound good I must say.

When I try to format or access it from windows it says

Please insert a disk into drive G:

Type "fake memory" or "fake Memory sticks ebay" in google, there are alot of articles telling you how to tell if they are fake.

No worries now, it seems to be working :D
I'll post back if theres anymore problems

I had a fake 2gig MS from ebay. I had no problems with it at all. Speed was a little on the slow side but it has worked flawlessly for over a year. Cost me half what a real one would have.

Your milage may vary :)

I've bought like 7 2gb from eBay for various family members and never yet got a fake. Touch wood.
