Sim City DS screens and info

Famitsu's packed with new goodies from Sim City DS that have us yearning for the game. And who can resist tiny Sim Santa and his cute little reindeer?

The new stuff looks to largely concern Save the City mode, which thrusts the player into a real city and offers them challenges to solve, from earthquakes to snarled traffic and hey, even UFOs. Also -- and our loose translation may be incorrect -- it looks as though fires in your city can be handled by blowing into the microphone. But lots of fire stations can help prevent fires, so build carefully to avoid puffing away into the mic.

It looks like Will Wright, the creator of the Sim franchise.

If you have ever played sim city 3000 before, all of your advisors look somewhat like that... but i am guessing that this is your only advisor in the game... just because it would make it so much more complicated.

dude... they gayed it up. Id still probably buy it if it plays like simcity... but wtf?

I wonder... is Nintendo making this, or is Will Wright's company, Maxis (now owned by EA), making this? Shigeru Miyamoto and him are pretty good friends, and Miyamoto even made Sim City for the Super Nintendo for him... so maybe they're making Sim City for the DS as well....?

Looks like they need to work on the game some more.
