Ok well just got a Wii today and was going to update the firmware BUT....i can get connected to my router and stuff, but its an INCREDIBLY long download for about 20 minutes it gets half way done and then it has an error...sorry i cant be specific on which one right now.
has anyone else experienced this problem?
I'm using a Motorola SBG900 wireless gateway if that helps
im using wifi max with DIAL-UP!! my update took all night!!! i just started at midnight and it finished at like 5:30 am lol. get the error code and Google it with Wii error.
Mine (knock on wood) seems to be getting through the updates okay (I finished the first one successfully, and am about a third of the way through the second one). However, it does seem to take an incredibly long time to get them.
I'm sure it really must suck to do that over dial-up, as I'm on 1.5 mbps DSL.
ya it was slow. i slept through it though hehe
I'm using NETGEAR wireless router and it only took me about 30 minutes. I'm sure it's a huge file if it takes that long on DSL.
