Google tightens Android app policy to up security and reduce spam

The trouble with free is that consumers can become irritated by in-app ads, particularly relentless 'airpush' type notifications and illegal data edits.
Concerned, Google has issued a new ad policy to Android developers that use the in-app ad option, according to Phandroid.
Any in-app ads that are used across Google Play items must not edit the user's device in any way. That means no unauthorised installing of shortcuts, icons or changing default settings.
And any changes must be easy to reverse, rather than a labyrinth-like experience.
