Downgrading! Question

I usualy read this a lot
"not responsible for bricked psps"

and well theres a risk of brickin my psp when i flash
but whats that based on?
Is it based on weather u make a mistake
like running the flasher first ext.

but what if u do everything right
still risk of bricking the psp

My friend wants me to do it for him but i dont wanna brick it he has a 2.71

i flashed my psp to 3.03 OE-A'

its based on whether you make a mistake, or if somehow data in Flash0 gets corrupted, which causes bricks. but not likely to happen if u follow directions, if you need help, i can help you downgrading. i have helped like 5 people on downgrading their ta-082 psps

so if i use the same flash0 downgrader i used on my psp with his it would be ok?

I Don't get hoe easily people get a brick just follow the readmes if not ask, there alot of people willing to help you know
