Widow of BBM Party stab victim starts anti-glass campaign
Bottle Stop implores pubs and clubs to realise the dangers of glass bottles and the "living hell" they can cause.
ME attended RIM's London-based BBM Party back in April, wherestars Jessie J and Wretch 32 performed, while TOWIE cast members were among merrymakers.
Sadly, the BlackBerry gala ended abruptly when 37-year-old guest and RIM employee Philip Sherriff was stabbed in the neck with a glass bottle, which resulted in his death four days later.
The shocking end to the married father-of-two's life has encouraged his wife Jane to launch Bottle Stop, a campaign designed to ban glass bottles from clubs and pubs, as she tells ITV of her "living hell."
Bottle Stop currently has more than 27,000 Facebook 'Likes' and support from Stephen Fry and Jason Manford, click here to find out more about the cause.
