Got me a used DS....

Today for $50 US, in very good condition with a charger and case, from a well behaved 12 year old girl (my G/Fs neice) and after using homebrew on the PSP for a while, I think I'm gonna attempt a few minor things on the DS.

Did I get scammed or was $50 a decent price?

I plan on getting the Max Media Dock at Wal-Mart this weekend, to get my foot in the door, so to speak, then eventually order the better no-pass/card readers, etc. from an online vendor.

Can anyone recommend the best place online to start looking, and best/worst case stories about the actual devices?

if it was the old DS its an okay price.
if it was the DS Lite its a good price.

i wouldnt suggest the MMD.

Yea, the only reason I was even considering the MMD is the fact I have a 128MB cf card sitting here, with nothing to use it on, and I'm in a hurry to try it out. :D I do plan on ordering some stuff in a few weeks, I'll check those sites out, thanks.

Yea, it is an old one, but in very good shape. I don't mind, though, I checked e-bay and the going rate for one without an ac adaptor and case (mine came with both) was around $40.
