Ok guys, I have infront of me -

My DreamCast :D
My High Speed Modem :cool:
an ethernet cable ;)
a pile of blank CDs :eek:
a nice tv :rolleyes:
and the raging will to take my Dreamcast online and see whats crackin (if possible) :thumbup:

anyone..... help?

what else do I need? Is DC still online? Homebrew multiplayer games? ANYTHING?

EDIT - eh? Seems damn complicated. Do i need a VOICE modem? im using a NTL Broadband USB modem, will that do? I thought this would have been "bang in the wire and your online"

edit 2 - damn, how n00bish of me, DC doesnt even have an ethernet port, should have looked really :(

Nope, not that I know of. AFAIK, no one has really figured out how to code the TCP/IP stack properly in homebrew software, and so it hasn't ever been implemented. It's been included in KOS (the operating system used to develop independent DC software) for a few years, now, but I don't know of anyone that's successfully implemented it.

there are loads on multiplayer homebrew games, but none are online.
