Deroad released a utility to install a Ps3 pkg without the option of the XMB.

The author tells us PSChannel always work (even if it has no release date) and has developed this new option. This application is useful if for some reason we do not have access to install pkg from the XMB. Their installation will create a new icon on the XMB, just put a pkg to the root of a USB device (maximum Pkg 100 and a maximum size of 4Gb each), plug the USB to the console and launch the Homebrew.
